Terms in plain language
How we work together. Your written quote or order has the details for your project.
Last updated: October 27, 2026
These terms explain how LPM Strategy ("we", "us"), based in Prospect, KY, works with the businesses we serve ("you"). They apply to our website and to any service you buy from us. Your written quote or order has the details for your project, and if it ever conflicts with these terms, the quote wins. Questions? Email support@lpmstrategy.com. For billing questions, email billing@lpmstrategy.com.
1. What we do and what's included
We offer free online checkups, written SEO and AI-search audits, SEO and market reports, Google Business Profile work, local SEO plans, websites, Site Care and 24/7 AI chat assistants. Our current prices are on our pricing page.
Every paid project starts with a written quote that lists what's included, the price and the expected timing. Each package also has the limits shown on our pricing page, such as the number of pages, revision rounds, Site Care edit time, and chat messages and Q&A updates per month. Work beyond those limits is priced on our pricing page or quoted in writing first. Anything outside that quote, such as extra pages, extra revision rounds or new features, gets its own written quote before we start, and we won't begin extra work without your OK.
2. The free online checkup
The free checkup is a short snapshot of how your business shows up online. It's free, there's no obligation to buy anything, and it's based on what we can see publicly when we check. It isn't a full audit, and it doesn't include a plan for fixing what we find.
3. No guarantees on rankings or results
We do honest, careful work, but we don't control Google, AI assistants or your competitors. We don't guarantee any specific ranking, map position, traffic, calls, leads, reviews or sales, or that you'll appear in AI answers. Past results and examples don't promise the same results for you. What we do promise is to deliver the work in your quote with professional care.
As a rough guide, listing fixes usually show results in weeks, and new or improved pages usually take 3-6 months.
4. Your part: access, facts and approvals
- Access: you give us access through each platform's own user or manager invites. We never ask for your passwords.
- Facts and content: you supply accurate information about your business (services, hours, prices and so on) and the photos, logos and text you want used. You confirm you have the right to use anything you send us.
- Approvals: nothing goes live without your approval. Please send feedback within 7 business days of a draft, in one combined list where you can.
- Delays: timelines depend on getting your content, access and feedback on time. If a project waits on you for more than 30 days, we may pause it, and restarting may move it to the next open slot in our schedule.
5. Payment
- Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax, if any applies, is added to the invoice.
- Audits and reports are paid up front.
- Website builds, including Website Refreshes, need a 50% deposit to start, and the balance is due when the site is ready to launch, before it goes live.
- Monthly plans are billed in advance each month.
- Third-party costs (such as domain names, paid tools or directory fees) are passed through at cost.
- The $199 written audit is credited toward SEO fixes booked within 30 days. It isn't credited toward a Website Refresh or a Starter Website.
- If you upgrade from a Website Refresh to a Starter or Growth Website within 30 days, the full Refresh price is credited toward the upgrade.
- Invoices are due within 7 days of the invoice date.
- Late payments: if an invoice is more than 15 days past due, we may add a late fee of 1.5% per month, or the highest rate allowed by law if lower and pause work until the account is current.
- Questions about an invoice or payment? Email billing@lpmstrategy.com.
6. Refunds
There are no refunds on completed work, including delivered audits and reports and months of service already provided. If you cancel a project before we start work, we'll refund your payment in full. If you cancel a website build after work has started, the deposit covers the work done so far, and the deposit is non-refundable once design work begins.
7. Revisions
Website Refreshes include 1 revision round. Starter Websites include 2 revision rounds once you're happy with the overall site. Growth Websites and Redesigns include 2 revision rounds. Extra revision rounds, and changes that go beyond the agreed scope, are billed at $75/hour or quoted in writing first. For AI chat assistants, Q&A updates are included up to your plan's monthly limit, and extra updates are priced on our pricing page.
Website Refresh scope. A Website Refresh covers up to 3 pages. A site that needs more moves to the Starter Website; the $149 extra-page price doesn't apply to a Refresh. You supply the text and photos, and we make light edits only. A Refresh includes 1 revision round, redirects from old page addresses to the new ones, tap-to-call, a contact form, basic on-page SEO (page titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text, and business details in the page code that match your Google Business Profile), speed and https basics, and an update to the website link on your Google Business Profile. Site Care is recommended but not required. It usually takes about 1-2 weeks after we receive your content. A Refresh doesn't include a store, booking or a portal, or logo or brand design.
8. Monthly plans and cancelling
Monthly plans have a 3-month minimum. After that, they run month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days' written notice (email is fine). When a plan ends, we stop the monthly work, and we'll help hand things over in an orderly way.
9. Ending our work together
Either of us can end a project or plan in writing. We may pause or end our work if an invoice stays unpaid, if we're asked to do something misleading or against a platform's rules, or if you break these terms and don't fix it within 14 days of us asking. If work ends early, you pay for work done and costs already committed up to that date.
10. Who owns what
- Your business assets are yours: your domain, your Google and other profiles, your logo, photos, content and customer data.
- Website and written work: once you've paid in full, you own the finished website content and design we made for you, and the written reports and copy we delivered.
- Our tools: we keep our own know-how, templates, checklists and reusable code, and you get a license to use whatever of it is built into your site.
- Showing our work: we may mention your business and show finished public work, such as your website, in our portfolio, unless you ask us not to.
11. Hosting, Site Care and third-party platforms
Websites we build and look after are hosted on Netlify, and our AI chat assistants run on Chatbase. We also work inside Google, Yelp, Meta and other platforms. These services set their own rules, can change them at any time, and have their own terms and privacy policies. Their outages, suspensions, policy changes and fee changes are outside our control, and we aren't responsible for them, though we'll help you deal with them. You own your domain. Hosting and rebuilds are covered by a separate agreement.
12. AI chat assistants
Your chat assistant tells visitors it's an AI and offers a way to reach a real person. Its answers are for information only and aren't binding offers, quotes or promises. Estimated prices are clearly labeled as estimates. You approve the content it's trained on, and you're responsible for keeping that content accurate. Message limits depend on your plan, and extra messages are priced on our pricing page.
13. Honest marketing only
We never write fake reviews, offer rewards for reviews, or use tactics that break Google's guidelines. We may decline work that would.
14. Confidentiality
We keep the private business information you share with us confidential and use it only to do your work. We won't share it unless you agree, it's already public, or the law requires it.
15. Limits on liability
If something goes wrong, our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We aren't responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or lost business opportunities, or for problems caused by third-party platforms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
16. Your responsibility for your content
If someone makes a claim against us because of content, facts or materials you gave us (for example, a photo you didn't have the rights to, or an inaccurate claim about your business), you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. If we ever have a disagreement, we'll first try to work it out in good faith by talking. If that doesn't work, any case will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Jefferson County, Kentucky.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Changes apply to new work from that date; work already under a signed quote stays under the terms that applied when you signed, unless we both agree otherwise.
19. The rest
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't given it up. These terms and your quote are the whole agreement between us about the services they cover.
