Privacy policy

This policy explains how LPM Strategy ("we", "us"), a digital marketing business based in Prospect, KY, collects, uses and protects information on this website and when you contact us. We keep it short and in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at support@lpmstrategy.com.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. When you request a free online checkup, the form asks for:

• Your name
• Your business name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (optional)
• Your website address (if you have one)
• Your Google Business Profile link, or your business name as it's listed on Google
• Your city or service area
• Your main services
• Your top competitors, if you know them (optional)
• Your type of business
• What would help most (the boxes you tick)
• Anything else you want to tell us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically receives basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We don't use it to identify you.

If you become a client, we'll also handle information about your business, such as access to your Google profile or website, to do the work you've asked for. Your quote and our terms of service cover that work.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to you about your checkup and about any services you ask us for. We don't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing you didn't ask for.

Who processes your form

Our website is hosted by Netlify, and the checkup form is processed by Netlify Forms. When you send the form, Netlify receives and stores your answers for us. Like most website hosts, Netlify may also keep basic technical logs, such as your IP address and browser type, to run and protect the site. You can read Netlify's privacy policy.

When we share information

We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only:

• with the service providers we need to run this site and reply to you, such as Netlify and our email provider, who may use it only to provide their service to us;
• if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety; or
• if LPM Strategy is ever sold or merged, in which case the new owner would have to follow this policy.

Cookies and analytics

This website doesn't use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we don't set cookies of our own.

The site's fonts load from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google's servers to get the fonts, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. You can read Google's privacy policy. The videos on this site are hosted on our own site, not on a third-party video service.

Because we don't track you, there's nothing to opt out of, and the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal. If we ever add analytics or other tools, we'll update this policy first.

How long we keep it

We keep your form answers and emails only as long as we need them to reply to you, do any work you ask us for and keep basic business records. If you don't become a client, we delete your checkup request within 12 months. Client records are kept as long as we need them for the work and for tax and legal records.

How we protect it

The site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, form submissions are stored in our Netlify account, and only LPM Strategy can see them. We limit access to client accounts to the people doing the work, and we use each platform's own user invites instead of collecting passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, and we'll let you know if a problem affects your information.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to correct or delete it. Just email support@lpmstrategy.com. We may need to confirm it's really you, and we'll reply within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for asking. You can also tell us at any time to stop contacting you.

Children

This website is for businesses. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites, such as Google's help pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for how they handle your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll ask first.
